I read that there will be in excess of 11,000 free tickets being offered for the olympic games to various organisations. It seems to me that as these games have been largely funded by public money then we should be seeking to sell every ticket possible. Certainly the Mayor of London’s office does not need 2,000 freebies.
I think all these should be withdrawn and put into the public lottery for sale. The Mayor of London will be a guest at the opening and closing ceremonies and that should be more than enough free tickets for the post.
