Many vulnerable people in the country fall prey to the postal lottery scams that regularly come through the letterbox from Australia, USA, Holland, Hong Kong and sometimes from the UK.

These usually promiss fantastic prizes which seem to be guaranteed and ask for money to be sent.

 I am helping Hampshire Trading Standards on this campaign because of my help to some older people I know in the county who have fallen prey to the scams. Mail posted from within the UK can be stopped and now we need the law changed so that scam mail cannot be posted from abroad as well as raising awareness amongst vulnerable people that these ‘lotteries’ are  to be ignored.
